It was a great pleasure and honour for EFEE to co-host the 2023 Plenary Meeting of the European Sectoral Social Dialogue in Education (ESSDE) last week, together with our partners at ETUCE!
This year’s gathering allowed the social partners to review the state of the social dialogue in the presence of the @European Commission; to discuss and approve the work programme for the next three years; and to adopt and implement policy outcomes from past projects. At the same time, we also had a chance to listen to and discuss the results of Cedefop’s recent ‘Pan-European survey on VET Vocation Education and Training (VET) for teachers and trainers’, as well as the 2023 edition of Eurydice’s ‘Structural indicators for monitoring education and training systems in Europe” and the upcoming report on alternative pathways to the teaching profession and a new framework for the teaching profession.
