The Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth of Cyprus, together with the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, UNECE and the UNEP are organising the first UNECE Forum on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on 27 and 28 June in Limassol, Cyprus.
The ‘Empowering Youth for Sustainable Futures’ Forum will focus on exploring the potential of entrepreneurship education in shaping sustainability, providing a dynamic platform for stakeholders in the education sector to interact, discuss, and exchange best practices and ideas.
Issues being debated will include among others the type of sustainability-based skills essential for youth entrepreneurship and innovation, how education programmes can be updated to equip learners with these skills, and how to hold decision-makers accountable.
