EFEE was honoured to take part in today’s event ‘Empowering Youth for a Sustainable Future: Building Skills for Tomorrow’, organised by UNESCO-UNEVOC and WorldSkills International.
Our Policy Officer Samira Bührer highlighted the fundamental importance of improving sustainability in schools throughout Europe – bringing people and communities together to promote best practices in this area and noting EFEE’s cooperation with the European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE) on this subject as part of the European Social Dialogue in Education.
At the same time, EFEE also stressed the need for educational establishments in the continent to keep working on ensuring an inclusive education.
