APRES COVID

European Sectoral Social Partners in Education Addressing Psychosocial Risks for an Equitable and Sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 crisis

2024 – 2026

Overview of the Project

APRES COVID is a social dialogue project that builds on the previous work carried out by EFEE and ETUCE to address the unprecedented impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on health and safety issues in the education sector – with a particular focus on countering psychosocial risks in this field in order to promote an equitable and sustainable education-led recovery.

Psychosocial hazards can create serious damages on education working and learning environments. The main work-related stress factors for teachers, other education personnel and school leaders can lead to several negative psychological, physical and social outcomes; in this context, the project aims to conduct an impact assessment and revision of the “Joint Practical Guidelines on How to Promote Joint Social Partner Initiatives at European, National, Regional and Local Level to Prevent and Combat Psychosocial Hazards in Education (2016)” by the means of a joint survey to be carried out among members of ETUCE and EFEE, as well as three social partner case study activities and a training seminar.
