InclEdu4AllNeeds

Inclusive education for all needs: European Sectoral Social Partners in Education promoting inclusion of persons with special needs in education.

2024 – 2026

Overview of the project

The EFEE-ETUCE ‘InclEdu4AllNeeds’ project focuses on identifying and promoting successful joint approaches by social partners in ensuring the full inclusions of persons with special needs in education systems and policies, as well as to evaluate current policies and practices – resulting in the establishment of a concrete set of proposals and recommendations for national member organisations, employers in education, education authorities and governments.

At the same time, the project aims to support education employers and education trade unions organisations across Europe to become more proactive in addressing the issue of the inclusion of persons with special needs; to update knowledge and peer learning on this topic in the ESSDE Committee; and to raise the awareness of policymakers and of the wider public through a series of short videos on the current situation persons with special needs face in education systems across Europe. Activities taking place as part of the project include a ‘project study’ phase (including desk research, an online survey, and focus groups and schools visits; two training seminars to take place in Paris and Lisbon respectively; a final conference in Chisinau; and several advisory group meetings.
