On 9 March 2020, EFEE attended the Extraordinary Social Affairs Board (SAB) meeting of CEEP (European Centre of Employers and Enterprises providing Public Services and Services of General Interest). The only topic on the agenda of the day was the negotiations on the Digital Autonomous Framework Agreement between the cross-sectoral social partners, more precisely CEEP, BusinessEurope, SMEUnited and ETUC. The framework comes as a response to the digital transformation and its far-reaching consequences on the labour market. The Agreement is set to be approved after the final consultation round is closed on 8 April 2020.
