Strengthening Social Dialogue in the Western Balkans and and Eastern Partnership countries

The EastSD Final Conference will take place in Brussels on 24 February 2027 and will bring together EFEE full members to reflect on how stronger social dialogue can help address teacher shortages and improve the attractiveness of the teaching profession. Discussions will build on the project’s work on teachers’ working time, digitalisation and the right to disconnect, and work-related well-being.

The conference will also present the project’s main findings and lessons from cooperation with social partners in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries. It will highlight how capacity building and stronger links with the European Sectoral Social Dialogue in Education can support more effective and sustainable social dialogue across the education sector.
