On 28 September 2020, EFEE participated in the Social Affairs Board (SAB) meeting of CEEP (European Centre of Employers and Enterprises providing Public Services and Services of general interest). CEEP introduced the members to their Position Paper on Renewed Understanding of SGI’s, which will be presented to the European Commission in the coming weeks.Subsequently, the participants were introduced to the Social Partners Autonomous Framework Agreement on Digitalisation, the Minimum Wage Framework, the Proposals on Pay Transparency and the Working Conditions Directive. The most important point of discussion was on the proposed Action Plan on European Pillar of Social Rights and its newly appointed Special Advisor, Ms. Andrea Nahles. The meeting closed with an overview of the sectoral partners’ work in their respective fields.
