EFEE welcomes the European Parliament draft report on the future Erasmus+ programme 2028–2034, particularly the proposed budget increase and the return of clearer budget allocations. At the same time, EFEE calls for stronger and protected funding for school education, a broader understanding of vocational education and training, and the meaningful involvement of social partners and education stakeholders throughout the programme. EFEE underlines that a future Erasmus+ must remain ambitious, well-resourced and balanced, supporting mobility, cooperation and quality education across all sectors.
