EFEE participated in the European Commission’s Implementation Dialogue on Supporting the Teaching Profession in the EU, held on 11 June 2026 in Brussels.
In its written contribution, EFEE highlighted the positive impact of Erasmus+ in supporting teachers, school leaders and education institutions through mobility, cooperation partnerships, Teacher Academies and peer-learning opportunities.
EFEE also called for a more strategic European approach to teacher recruitment and retention, focusing on stronger workforce data, expanded teacher mobility, meaningful social dialogue, and more supportive and attractive working environments.
Through its participation, EFEE reaffirmed its commitment to bringing the voice of education employers into EU-level discussions on the future of the teaching profession.
