On 9 June 2026, EEIP participated in the 2026 Annual Meeting of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030.
The meeting brought together members of the network to review progress, discuss governance developments and contribute to the priorities of the new 2026–2029 Strategic Plan. It also provided an opportunity for new members, including EEIP, to engage directly with the wider Teacher Task Force community.
Discussions focused on three interconnected areas of work:
• Knowledge production and future thinking
• Advocacy and partnerships
• Policy learning and policy change
Members also reflected on achievements under the 2022–2025 Strategic Plan, discussed the 2026–2027 workplan and explored opportunities to contribute to flagship activities such as the Global Report on Teachers and the Teacher Policy Dialogue Forum. Breakout sessions allowed participants to identify common priorities, possible synergies and areas for future engagement.
EEIP’s participation in the Annual Meeting marked an important first step in connecting its members and partners with the wider work of the Teacher Task Force.
